250 kg of firecrackers were seized by the Customs and Police |
According to the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the department coordinated with the Police Department for Corruption, Smuggling and Economic Crimes (C03) under the Ministry of Public Security, and Ho Chi Minh City Police to inspect two containers of imported goods, and detected 250kg of firecrackers hidden inside sofas.
Many commodities have signs of counterfeiting famous brands. |
The shipment was imported from China to Vietnam via Cat Lai Port. In addition to these firecrackers, when inspecting a company’s warehouse at 871 Kinh Duong Vuong, An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, the competent forces detected a large amount of undeclared Chinese goods.
In which, there are many items showing signs of infringing intellectual propertyrights of world-famous brands.
The case is being investigated and clarified by the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department in coordination with C03. Beloware some photos of the seizure.
