Viet Nam’ export surplus with France valued at over $US 1 billion.

According to the latest information from the General Department of Customs, by the end of July2016, our country has exported goods valued at nearly $US 1.62 billion to France, slightly increasing by $US 21 million as compared to the same period in2015; and imported commodities worth over $US 612 million from France, reducing by $US 122 million in comparison with the same period in 2015.

Thus, by the end of July, our country continued with an export surplus valued at over $US 1 billion to France. Currently, Viet Nam is exporting 25 key groups of commodities from high technology (electronic appliances) to traditional goods such as agricultural products, marine products, vegetables, rice…

Till the end of July 2016, Vietnamhad 04 groups of exports to France with aturn-over worth at least $US 100 million. Mobile phones of all kind and parts were the leading items reaching$US 533 million, followed by shoes and sandals worth $US 274 million; textiles worth $US 221 million; computers, electronic devices and parts valued at $US 115 million.

In importing activities, our country had 28 key groups of imports from France. By the end of July, there have been drug consignments worth $US 178 million as the only group of commodities reaching aturn-over of more than $US 100 million.
