VCN – Enforcement authorities of Nghe An province have detected and seized a vehicle transporting 44.5 kg of illegal fireworks.

On November 29, the Market Surveillance and the Police authorities of Yen Thanh District inspected a 2-wheeled motorbike with license plate 37P1 - 852.34 owned by Mr. N. C. C, with permanent residence in Tien Son hamlet, Tay Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province, showing signs of transporting illegal goods.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered 26 boxes of foreign-made fireworks behind the motorbike seat, with a total weight of 44.5 kg. The vehicle owner did not have any documents, invoices or contracts proving the legal origin of the goods.

The authorities have made a record and temporarily detained the fireworks for investigation, verification and handling under regulations.
