Environmentally friendly

According to the survey of the reporter, now at electronic supermarkets such as Nguyen Kim, Pico, Tran Anh,... and electronic shops in Hanoi, many refrigeration items are sold to help buyers easily choose a suitable product with their needs and budget.

According to the reporter, most of refrigeration products from Electrolux, Samsung, Panasonic, Daikin, Funiki,... being sold in the market come from Thailand. In particular, in recent years, manufacturers have focused on products that are energy-saving, environmentally-friendly and protecting consumers' health.

For example, Mitsubishi Electric air-conditioners have integrated inverter technology (power saving), gas R40 with low toxic gas emissions, high humidity and anti-allergy... Daikin air conditioner products use Apatite Tittan optical filter to filter dirt, deodorize and kill bacteria to ensure the health of users. In addition, the Daikin air conditioner series uses R-32 gas with low global warming index and without ozone depletion. The Panasonic air conditioner series is equipped with Nanoe-G technology, which removes ions to trap suspended particles in the air, removes dirt in the air, removes bad smell adhering on an object, as well as inactivate bacteria and viruses in the membrane.

In addition, many products in the market, such as steam fans, misting fans... are air cooling products similar to air conditioners, which are small, easily movable and equipped with a controller for convenient use. For example, the Mitsubishi fan is designed with a remote controlled micom system that makes it easier and more user-friendly to change the fan speed without having to move. Kangaroo misting fan with negative ion function helps clean the air, and is mosquito repellent; A remote control allows changing the fan mode without moving. Moreover, there are some chargeable and rechargeable (can work without electricity for about 3-5 hours), cooling fans.

According to the reporter, consumers now tend to prefer medium and high-class inverter (power saving) products with a capacity of less than 12,000BTU and price from 6-12 million VND/product depending on each brand. For low-income consumers, normal fans are the right choice with many types such as standing fans, table fans, hanging fans... The price is from 250,000 - 2.5 million VND/product.

Seasonal incentives

According to staff member from Minh Quang supermarket (Xuan La - Tay Ho - Hanoi), it is a good time for consumers to buy air conditioners, fans... “At present, electronic supermarkets have started to increase, but not significantly, the price of summer refrigeration items. In addition, the number of customers is not large so the installation staff is also more careful and thoughtful. When installation problems occur a technician also goes to handle it in a timely manner, so as to avoid waiting for a long time in the hot summer.”

There have been many promotions to attract customers so far. For example, Minh Quang electronic supermarket applies free installation, transportation, and 3 meters of copper pipes for customers buying air conditioners there.

Media Mart also offers five incentives for air-conditioner buyers, namely, 100% installation and free delivery throughout the North, and up to 50% discount on copper pipe and supplies. Especially, from April 1 to May 15, buying a Sharp air conditioner at Media Mart, customers will get coupons worth from 300,000 to 600,000 VND.

Similarly, the Green electronic supermarket system also launched many promotions for customers buying air conditioners. Specifically, discount from 50%-100% for copper pipe, free installation, 1 change within 1 month..

Although the electronic supermarkets are launching promotion programs to gratify their customers, promotions and policies in each unit are different, so consumers should take note to make the right choice. According to Minh Quang electronic supermarket staff, the difference in prices of goods at different electronic supermarkets can be up to 500,000 VND/product. Therefore, consumers need to compare prices and promotions at different units to ensure their interests when making purchases.
