According to the inspection results, in 2023, B.I.V Company Limited (Go Dau District, Tay Ninh Province), invested by China, falsely declared Corporate Income Tax worth more than VND2.4 billion and Personal Income Tax worth VND 235 million, leading to the shortage of tax payable.

Accordingly, B.I.V Company Limited was fined about VND540 million. Tay Ninh Tax Department collected the falsely declared Corporate Income Tax and Personal Income Tax amount, tax arrears, and late payment of taxes for the company worth more than VND3.46 billion.

Similarly, the inspector of the Tay Ninh Tax Department determined that T.E.V Joint Stock Company (address: Go Dau district, Tay Ninh province, 100% Korean capital) had falsely declared the refunded value added tax, and the Corporate Income Tax and Personal Income Tax, leading to the shortage of tax payable.

The total amount of fines for administrative violation of taxes, VAT refunds, Corporate Income Tax arrears, Personal Income Tax arrears, and late payment of taxes for T.E.V Joint Stock Company is more than VND725 million.

Tay Ninh Tax Department requests these companies to rectify and overcome problems and errors in accounting, tax declaration, tax payment, and tax finalization in accordance with the provisions of tax law, accounting law, and implementing guidelines.

Tay Ninh Tax Department said that by the end of September 2024, the total amount of tax debt managed by the Department was over VND536.7 billion, a decrease of VND 39.8 billion compared to August 2024.

By the end of October 2024, 13 taxpayers who violated the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 100 of the Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14 and Point g, Clause 1, Article 29 of Decree No. 126/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government, still owed tax and other revenues with an amount of over VND171 billion.

Additionally, there are many enterprises with large tax debts that have been delayed for many years. Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Director of Tay Ninh Tax Department, said that the main reason leading to the delayed tax debt is that some enterprises have operated at a loss and do not have the financial capacity to fulfill their tax obligations.
