Taxpayers are satisfied with the new venue for tax finalization

VCN- On 23rd March 2017, the new venue of the Hanoi Taxation Department for tax finalization at La Thanh Hotel officially welcomed taxpayers to perform finalization of personal income tax in 2016. According to a reporter of the Customs Newspaper, the support of tax authorities was highly appreciated by taxpayers.

In recent times, the Hanoi Taxation Department has implemented the peak month - "the month accompanying taxpayers for 2016 tax finalization" in various forms of propaganda and support to create the most favourable condition for taxpayers to conduct tax payment quickly and conveniently.

During the peak month - "the month accompanying taxpayers" from 23rd March 2017 to 1st April 2017, taxpayers including organizations under the Hanoi Taxation Department and individuals paying personal income tax at the Hanoi Taxation Office (not including taxpayers who are obliged to submit tax at Tax Branches) will submit personal income tax finalization documents at Hall A1 of La Thanh Hotel. Although there were many taxpayers waiting for performance of tax payments but this venue was big enough to arrange them.

Mr. Mai Son, the Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Taxation Department said that from 23rd March 2017 to 1st April 2017, the Hanoi Taxation Department will strengthen staff to support and receive personal income tax finalization documents including: Personal income tax, tax declaration & tax accounting, information technology, and support from members of the youth union. Accordingly, all units will work together to respond quickly to the needs of taxpayers in a timely fashion. In addition, the Hanoi Taxation Department will also arrange computers, equipment and transmission lines to support taxpayers effectively. Taxpayers will even be provided free parking when conducting personal income tax finalization procedures.

"All staff shall work together in a system to respond quickly to the needs of taxpayers. Particularly on Saturdays (25th March 2017 and 1st April 2017), the Hanoi Taxation Department will handle personal income tax finalization dossiers of taxpayers at Hall A1 of La Thanh Hotel. For other tax administrative procedures, the Hanoi Taxation Office will perform at the Single Window point as usual", Mr. Mai Son said.

Mr. Nguyen Sinh Thanh, the Deputy Director of VSI Joint Stock Company (Cau Giay, Hanoi) said that with 2 times to pay personal income tax for 22 staff in his company, he found that the operations of the Hanoi Taxation Department had been improved much more conveniently.

"This new venue is quite spacious with attentive receptionists. I have been instructed enthusiastically by the consultant team to tackle my problems. Unlike many years ago, the tax finalization took only 20 minutes without any errors. I highly appreciate the efforts of the Hanoi Taxation Department".

A special point in the support for taxpayers was that the Hanoi Taxation Department invited a number of tax agents to support enterprises at the reception desks. The promotion of coordination between the Hanoi Taxation Department and tax agents has contributed to improving the quality of services and promoting the role of tax agents in raising the law observance of taxpayers, facilitating business activities and promoting the socialization of supporting taxpayers.
