Hai Phong: Budget revenue reached more than VND40,000 billion

According to the Hai Phong Statistics Department, total state revenue in the area in April was estimated at VND7,779.6 billion, In particular, domestic revenue reached VND3,065.9 billion; revenue from import and export activities reached VND4,712.1 billion.
Thus, the city's estimated revenue collection in the first 4 months of the year reached VND40,988.9 billion, equal to 38.39% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council. In particular, domestic revenue reached VND22,322.6 billion, equivalent to 49.61% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council and rose 110.53% over the same period last year; Balanced revenue from import-export activities reached VND17,724.3 billion, equal to 29.54% of the City People's Council estimate and 88.93% compared to the same period last year.
Notably, the city's revenue collection results in the first 4 months of the year increased by 28.77% compared to the same period last year.
The results achieved in the first 4 months of the year are an optimistic signal for Hai Phong to aim for the third consecutive year of revenue collection reaching VND100,000 billion or more.
Regarding local budget expenditures, in April, it is estimated to spend VND2,831 billion. In four months, it is estimated to reach VND8,845.7 billion, equal to 22.24% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council and an increase of 1.75% over the same period last year.
In the expenditure to balance the local budget, development investment expenditure is estimated at VND3,894.9 billion, reaching 20.45% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council and equal to 80.99% compared to the same period last year; regular expenditure reached VND4,630.8 billion, reaching 28.81% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council and increasing 25.51% over the same period last year.
