At a round-table conference on the plan of tax reform for 2016-2020, Mr. Nguyen Dai Tri said that inspections and examination of taxpayers would be promoted in the near future, with the inspection rate of taxpayers at least 5%, the examination rate of taxpayers at least 30%; the rate of tax complaints resolved on time at least 90%; the amount of adjusted tax due to complaints not more than 3% of the amount of tax arrears.
A representative of Taxation stressed that in order to achieve these objectives, Taxation needed to concentrate on applying risk management in all stages of examination and inspections, which was particularly important in the current context.
In addition, Taxation shall develop and implement programs of examination and inspections for each type of taxpayer. Along with that, the construction of a database of associated enterprises in transfer pricing inspections and amending the regulations on transfer pricing inspections should be prioritized.
