Accordingly, shipments of petroleum products that are temporarily imported for aviation supply but have not yet been re-exported as per the regulations of the Government Decree 69/2018, have the time limit for storage in Vietnam extended until end-December 2021.
Local customs departments are required to supervise these shipments and regularly inspect conditions of customs control.
On October 6, the Government issued Resolution 124 extending the deadline of storing aviation fuel temporarily imported for re-export.
The Government assigns the Ministry of Industry and Trade to work with the Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies to implement in accordance with regulations and prevent the abuse of the policy for benefits; to be responsible for reported contents and data.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is requested to study and propose the amendment to Decree 69/2018 in line with reality, especially amid the complicated and unpredictable development of the Covid-19 pandemic.
