Business suspension of temporary import and re-export of Monazite ores and ore concentrates will be valid on May 13th

According to the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), to manage temporary import and re-export business activities for Monazite ores and ore concentrates to prevent the possibility of causing environmental pollution, affecting health and human lives, illegal transmission, risk of trade fraud, greatly affecting foreign relations between Vietnam and countries around the world, based on the provisions of Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing some articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and related legal documents, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Circular No. 05/2024/ TT-BCT stipulates the temporary suspension of temporary import and re-export of Monazite ore and concentrates.
According to regulations in Circular No. 05/2024/TT-BCT, from May 13, 2024, temporarily suspend business activities of temporary import and re-export of Monazite ore and ore concentrates (belonging to group 26.12, code 2612.20 .00).
This Circular applied to traders engaging in temporary import and re-export of Monazite ore and ore concentrates; agencies, organizations and individuals involved in temporary import and re-export of Monazite ore and ore concentrates.
Circular No. 05/2024/TT-BCT takes effect from May 13, 2024 to December 31, 2027.
