Seizing a truck transporting contraband in An Giang

Smuggled cigarettes were detected on the truck

The smuggled cigarettes were seized by an interbranch inspection group including Market Management Team No.7, Police, Lac Quoi Border Post, Vinh Gia Border Post at Vinh Hiep halmet, Vinh Gia Commune, Tri Ton District, An Giang province.

The working group found 10 cartons inside containing 1,490 packs of Ram cigarettes, 1,500 packs of Hero cigarettes, 10 packs of Miles cigarettes and 728 sets of Clobetamil G cream made in Thailand in the truck.

All of the goods did not have vouchers and no one admited they were the goods owner. The above goods are worth about VND 100 million.

The inspection team made a record of temporarily seizing all of the above goods to prevent administrative violations, verify details and handle in accordance with the law.

The shipment of smuggled bicycles was seized

At the end of June 2020, An Giang Market Management Department made a decision to examine subjects towards administrative procedures in Ton Duc Thang Street, Long Thi D commune, Long Thanh Ward, Tan Chau Town, An Giang province, and discovered 16 used sports bikes, originated from a foreign country, with unidentified owners. The value of the exhibits was 72 million VND.
