Seizing 5 kg of synthetic drugs

At 1:30 AM on 11/9, in 1A Highway (the area that crosses Dong Hai Ward, Thanh Hoa City), the working team includes: Northern Anti-drug Enforcement Team (Team 5 - Anti-smuggling and investigation, General Department of Vietnam Customs); Division 6, C47 (Ministry of Public Security); Drug Prevention Division (Vietnam Coast Guard) and Thanh Hoa Police City detected Tran Thi Hai (lives in Do Luong town, Nghe An province) that travelling on a bus with license plates No. 37B-01731, on the route Nghien An - Hanoi, was transporting 15 bars of heroin along with nearly 5 kg of synthetic drugs (ice).

Through the struggle, Tran Thi Hai declared that she transported all the above goods from Laos to Vietnam in order to transports to China for consumption. Currently, all evidence, subject, and dossiers have been handed over to Thanh Hoa police city for further investigation.

Earlier, on 15/6, on 1A Highway under the area of group 20, Nam Son Ward, Tam Diep city, Ninh Binh province, Team 5 in collaboration with the Division 6, C47 (Ministry of Public Security) and PC47, Ninh Binh Police, Yen Mo district police detained Luong Van Thien (was born in 1978, lives in Son Thanh village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province) was carrying 5 bars of heroin with total weight of nearly 1.7 kg while he was travelling on a bus with license plate No. 14B-02561 on the route Vinh City – Ka Long (Mong Cai City)

Through the initial struggle, Luong Van Thien declared that he transported the above drugs from Laos to Vietnam and then transported to China for consumption. However, he was arrested by competent force when he crossed over the area of Ninh Binh province.
