Revenue and tax types record growth in the first six months

According to the statistics, the total state revenue collected by the tax sector is estimated to reach 85,500 billion VND, equaling 7.3% of the estimate.
Revenue collected from cruel oil is estimated to reach 30,350 billion VND (equaling 68% of the estimate); domestic revenue collection is estimated to reach 567,437 billion VND (equaling 50.5% of the estimate).
The revenue collection which is excluding land use, lottery, dividend, retained earnings and income and expenditure difference of State Bank is estimated to reach 462,564 billion VND, equaling 48.9% of the estimate, increasing by 13.5% compared to the same period last year.
According to the General Department of Taxation, comparing to the estimate, there are 10/18 types of revenue and tax types, it achieved over 51% such as: personal income tax, registration fees, collected from lottery, land rent, land use fees.
Compared to the same period, almost all types of revenue and tax types have seen growth including: collection from production area increased by 13.5%; personal income tax increased by 17.1%; registration fees increased by 23%; collection from lottery increased by 11.6%, collection from licensing of mineral mining and water resource increased by 19.5%, collection from dividend, retained earnings increased by 67.6%.
Also, according to the report by the General Department of Taxation, the revenue collection from central budget accumulating in the first six months of 2019 is estimated to reach 272,000 billion VND, equaling 48% of the estimate, increasing by 19.7% over the same period last year. Collection from local budget is estimated to reach 325,786 billion VND, equaling 54.2% of the estimate, increasing by 7% over the same period last year.
To achieve the above result, the General Department of Taxation has complied strictly with law and regulations in the directives, operation and implementing tasks of revenue collection management.
The General Department of Taxation directed to continue upgrading the centralized tax management system in order to meet the requirement of professional activities about business registration and tax registration.
At the same time, continuing upgrading electronic portal in order to provide e-tax service for taxpayers and deploy the automatic supervision of tax refund.
In particular, tax authorities at all levels also focus on disseminating, supporting, instructing taxpayers to catch up and deploy every new policy, especially task of tax settlement in 2018. Thereby, it helps business community understand thoroughly and implement in accordance with tax law.
