VCN- As of March 2, e-commerce platforms have reviewed more than 750,000 stores and some 2,759,000 products; handled and removed nearly 8,900 stores with nearly 23,000 products that had their price increased due to abusing the acute respiratory infections caused by the new strain of coronavirus (Covid-19).

According to the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), e-commerce platforms like Sendo.vn, Shopee.vn, chotot.com, Lazada.vn, Tiki.vn, Fado.vn, Bibomarrt.com.vn and Vatgia.com coordinated with the department to review, remove and handle stores violating and abusing the acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of the coronavirus (Covid-19) to increase price, causing destabilisation in the market.

As of March 2, e-commerce platforms have reviewed more than 750,000 stores and more than 2,759,000 products and handled and removed nearly 8,900 stores with nearly 23,000 infringing products.

Specifically, Shopee.vn has handled and removed nearly 3,700 stores and about 4,800 masks / medical masks and hand sanitiser gel /solution.

Sendo.vn has handled and removed nearly 3,100 stores and nearly 4,750 masks/ medical masks and hand sanitiser gel /solution.

Other e-commerce platforms have handled and removed some 2,000 stores and about 13,000 masks/medical masks and hand sanitiser gel/solution.
