VCN- According to Nghe An Customs Department, the Anti- drug Enforcement Team has coordinated with Na Ngoi Border Guard Station and Anti- drug and crime Division, Nam Can Border Guard Station to break successfully the special case 366L and arrested an object who illegally transported 6 cakes of heroin.

Nghe An Customs Department said that after 2 months of planning and monitoring, at 5 p.m on 25th January, at National Highway 7A, the working team arrested Lau Ba Tong, born in 1986, native place Na Can Commune, Ky Son District, who illegally crossed to Laos in 2014 and currently resides in Kham village, Vieng Thoong District, Bo Ly Kham Xay Province -Laos, for illegally transporting drugs.

At the scene, 6 cakes of heroin, 1 knife, 1 mobile phone and many other exhibits were seized.

According to initial testimony, Lau Ba Tong was hired for transportation of the above-mentioned drugs by a Lao person to Nghe An for consumption, with a transport amount of Lao kip 16 million, equivalent to VND 43 million.
