Quang Tri seize smuggled Thailand goods

VCN – A smuggled shipment of cosmetic, medicated oil and massage oil from Thailand has been seized by Quang Tri Customs force in their area.

At 10:05 AM, on 2/8, at the area of side gate of Gate B of Lao Bao Trade Zone, Lao Bao Trade Zone Customs Branch discovered a person was carrying smuggled goods without legal vouchers on his back during the patrol to reinforce anti-smuggling.

In there, the subjects immediately run away and left goods behind when they saw Customs force. The goods include 408 lipstick bars (Jackelin, Mistine 12h); 186 cases of medical herbal oil of Green Herb Oil Brand, massage oil of Snake brand and massage glue of Scorpion brand; 5 boxes of lotion Dr. Yanhee Facial Whitening Cream (made by Thailand).

Earlier, on 1/8, at 1:45 PM, at Km 58 + 400, National Highway 9 (Tan Hop, Huong Hoa, Quang Tri province), the Customs Enforcement Unit discovered N.V.T was transporting 600 kg sugar, 300 bottles of Heineken beer without legal vouchers in the Customs operation area. The above cargoes were hidden in the bag which was put on the floor and underfloor of a car with license plate No. 74D-001.12.
