A leader of Import – Export Duty Division (Quang Ninh Customs Department) said that, the above revenue achieved 95.1 percent comparing to 7,400 billion VND of the assigned target.
The revenue collected at Quang Ninh Customs Department arose through seaport and road border areas.
In particular, the revenue collected through the seaport area (including the Customs Branches: Hon Gai, Cam Pha and Cai Lan) accounted for more than 80 percent.
Through the analysis of Quang Ninh Customs Department, the revenue collected depended mainly on petroleum and coal.
Over the past time, on the basis of forecasting the situation and assessing the factors affecting the results of budget collection, the unit has developed plans and implement the target of state collection in 2019 under three scenarios: revenues collected from petroleum, collected by sea (other than petrol) and collected through roads.
In particular, the unit focused on reforming and simplifying administrative procedures, focusing on customs procedures to enhance the convenience in implementing customs procedures, improving quality of customer services and facilitating trade activities through the locality.
