Northern Vietnam man guilty of trafficking 100 kilos of heroin

The investigation finds that Mr Dong, 43, (pictured) on March 18, conspires with others to traffic the heroin and hides the illegal drugs in his car to transport them from Laos into Vietnam.

When police signal for Mr Dong to pull over for a routine border inspection in the district of Luong Son in Hoa Binh Province on the evening of March 18, he attempts to flee. Above: Is a photo of the 100 kilos of heroin police later seize.

In the process of attempting to escape and evade police, Mr Dong, accelerates at a high rate of speed and leads police on a 20km chase, but loses control of his car after police shoot his tires.
