VCN - According to Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Branch (Nghe An Customs Department) the unit worked with Ky Son District Police to arrest a person illegally transporting narcotics through the area.

At 9:30 pm on July 10, at Kim Da village, Pha Danh commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, the working group arrested La Van Sy (born in 1977 and residing in Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province) for committing the illegal act of transporting narcotics.

The working group seized 0.7 grams of heroin and 400 tablets of synthetic drugs hidden in black potylen bags.

The suspect and drugs were handed over to Ky Son district police for further handling.
