Nearly 96% enterprises participate in e-tax refund

According to the General Department of Taxation, as of September 19, there were 790,924 enterprises using electronic tax declaration services, reaching 99.65% of the enterprises in operation. Along with that, the number of enterprises registered to use tax payment services with the tax authority is 778,093, accounting for 98%.
From January 1to September 19, enterprises have made more than 2.4 million electronic tax payment transactions with an amount of VND 454,055 billion and USD 24.7 million.
Also during this period, 7,724 enterprises participated in electronic tax refunds, reaching 95.94%. The system received and returned 13,751 dossiers with a total amount of more than VND 80,941 billion.
Regarding electronic invoices, 977,396 invoices hd been granted codes, the total revenue on issued invoices was more than VND 25,666 billion and the tax amount on the issued invoice is more than VND 2,265 billion.
In the implementation of Decree 41/2020/ND-CP of the Government on extension of tax and land rental, tax authorities have upgraded the application of information technology for taxpayers to conveniently submit an application for deadline extension.
The tax authority has also worked with the People's Committees of communes, districts and other agencies and departments to organise the implementation of Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP of the Government on measures to support people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Decision No. 15/2020/QD-TTg.
By the end of August 31, 46,260 business households had submitted their applications for requesting support to the communal People's Committee. The number of business households the commune-level People's Committee sent dossiers to the tax authoritiy requesting appraisal was 42,810 households, of that the number of business households eligible for support was 33,263 households; the number of business households ineligible to receive support was 8,351 households; and for the remaining number of dossiers, the tax authority is continuing to appraise.
