Many Customs brokers may face risk of suspending operation

HCM City Customs Department cites Clause 9a, Article 13 of Circular 12/2015/TT-BTC dated January 30, 2015, amended and supplemented in Clause 9, Article 1 of Circular 22/2019/TT-BTC dated April 16, 2019 of the Ministry of Finance as saying that customs brokers will periodically report their operation on the 5th of the first month of the following quarter under the Form No. 10 attached to Circular 22/2019/TT-BTC and send the reports to the customs departments of provinces and cities managing the business registration area;
Clause 2, Article 7, Circular 12/2015/TT-BTC dated January 30, 2015, amended and supplemented in Clause 5, Article 1, Circular 22/2019/TT-BTC dated April 16, 2019, of the Ministry of Finance stipulates that Customs brokers will be suspended operation when failing to comply with regulations on reporting regime as per the provisions of Article 13 of this Circular for three consecutive times;
HCM City Customs Department discovered seven customs brokers have violated regulations on the deadline for sending reporting for three consecutive periods.
The list of violated Customs brokers has been reported by the HCM City Customs Department to the General Department of Vietnam Customs for consideration and handling.
