According to the Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City, as of 20 March 2018, there were total of 304 violated enterprises. Of which, over 260 enterprises were not allowed to carry goods for preservation for violation of Customs management policy for goods which have been put on preservation for pending inspection results (30 days past due date, enterprises have not yet submitted the results of specialized inspections).
More than 40 enterprises which have added overdue specialized examination results, are administratively sanctioned and can not be placed in storage within 6 months from the date of issue of the sanctioning decision.
Noteworthy, many companies which have taken advantage of the regulations to carry goods on preservation waiting for results of specialized inspection having put the goods on the market, escaped from the registered business address.

In the case of violation of the above-mentioned specialized management, the Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City shall not handle goods for preservation, and at the same time notify the list of infringing enterprises to local customs units to coordinate.
