Previously, applying professional measures, Hai Phong Police discovered that some subjects in Hai Phong connected with others in other provinces: Dien Bien, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and set up drug trafficking lines in large quantities from abroad to Hai Phong for consumption.

The ringleader of the line is Dang Thi Hue (was born in 1971, residing at 48 Tran Nguyen Han), Pham Bich Nguyet (was born in 1975, residing at 4/34 Hang Kenh) who is an assistant for Hue. Both of them live in Le Chan district, Hai Phong City.

Dang Thi Hue clearly showed her role in receiving and transporting drugs from abroad, then distributing them to subjects in the domestic consumption chain and transporting drugs to a third country.

After focusing on verifying and clarifying the methods, tricks and roles of the subjects in this particularly dangerous drug line, the Police agency established a special project to gather forces to destroy the line.

Using synchronously professional measures, the reconnaissance force obtained information that the subjects transported many drugs to Hai Phong and gathered at Dang Thi Hue's warehouse, then transported to other places for consumption on September 19.

At 11 a.m. on September 19, at Lane 292 Lach Tray (Kenh Duong Ward, Le Chan District), the main force of the Public Security coordinated with the Customs Enforcement Team (Hai Phong Customs Department); Drug Crime Prevention and Control (Command 1 of Coast Guard), caught Pham Bich Nguyet while she was receiving drugs from Dang Thi Hue.

The seized exhibits included: one brick of heroin (weight 348.3 grams), one mobile phone, one electric motorbike and VND2.27 million in cash. Next, the competent forces urgently searched Pham Bich Nguyet's residence and seized 13.85 grams of synthetic drugs (MDMA); 39.32 grams of synthetic drugs (methamphetamine); three cell phones; one electronic scale, VND 287 million in cash and some related exhibits.

Expanding the investigation, forces urgently searched Dang Thi Hue's warehouse (at 106A/292 Lach Tray, Kenh Duong ward, Le Chan district), seizing 15,000 ecstasy pills (total weight 6.9kg), 5kg of synthetic drugs (types of methamphetamine and ketamine), 55 bricks of heroin (total weight of more than 20kg), VND30 million in cash and some related exhibits.

Thus, the total amount of exhibits seized in the case is more than 30 kg of drugs, VND 317 million in cash and several related exhibits.

Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong Police Department has issued a decision to temporarily hold the two above subjects and continue to investigate and expand the case.
