Ha Tinh Customs seize 40kg of narcostics and 5kg of ketamin

At 1:30 PM on February 6, on 8C Highway in the area of Halmet 5, Son Giang Ward, Huong Son District, the anti-drugs enforcement unit (Ha Tinh Customs Department), PC04 (Ha Tinh Police) and Huong Son Police coodinated with Cau Treo Customs Branch to detect a suspected car moving from Son Lam Ward to Pho Chau town.

Through inspection, two people sat in the car including Tran Long Bien (born in 1983, lives in Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh) and Nguyen Huu Hai (born in 1983, lives in Thach Trung ward, Ha Tinh city) were hiding three blue backpacks and one black backpack containing narcotics.

At the scene, the working group inspected and found inside the backpacks 40 black plastic bags and five white plastic bags containing white solid crystals.

At the investigating agency, the two persons claimed the above goods were 40 kg of meth and 5 kg of ketamine.

The subjects and drugs have been handed over to the investigation authority for further investigation.
