VCN- According to the Customs Department of Ha Tinh, the Customs Control Department has coordinated with Anti- drug crime Police (Ha Tinh Police), the Border Guard of Ha Tinh and Police of Huong Son district in catching red- handed 2 persons illegally transporting 567 tablets of synthetic drugs from Laos.

As Reported, in early June, the police force of drug crime investigation (Ha Tinh Police) detected 2 persons from Nghe An Province, who illegally transported cross- border narcotics from Laos to Vietnam for sale and consumption in Ha Tinh Province.

After investigating and verifying, at about 10 pm on September 21, at the 68 motel, Tân Phú village, Thach Trung Commune, Hà Tĩnh City, the joint forces caught 2 persons, including Pham Van Hao, born in 1978 and Đậu Công Bình, born in 1992, both residing in Diễn Thành, Diễn Châu district (Nghe An) committing acts of purchasing, and transporting drugs. 567 synthetic drug tablets with a weight of about 54, 9 grams were seized.

Moreover, the working group also seized 2 mobile phones, 4.3 million VND and other related items, and assets.

In the investigation agency, the subjects all admitted their offenses.
