VCN - According to the Ha Tinh Customs Department, the Anti-Drug Enforcement Unit has cooperated with the Ha Tinh Border Guard and Ha Tinh Police to successfully close the specialized project 481L, arrested a subject carrying 1 bar of heroin and 30 tablets of ecstasy.

On 27/7, at the Thinh Tam Hotel, Son Tay Town, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province, the working group caught Vang A Quan (was born in 1981, with native country at Long Cai, Bac Ha, Lao Cai) while he was transporting and storing drugs.

At the inspection scene, the working group seized a black leather bag containing one bar of heroin, 30 tablets of synthetic drugs, two mobile phones and a number of related exhibits.

At the investigating authority, Vang A Quan claimed that he was hired to transport the drugs by a Laos subject. He had to transport by crossing the forest through Cau Treo border and give the package to an unknown person in Lam Dong for 10 million VND.

Currently, the project is expanding for further investigation.
