Ha Tinh Customs arrested a person transporting 34kg of fireworks

VCN – According to Ha Tinh Customs Department, Cau Treo Customs Branch coordinated with competent force to detect and arrest a person while he was transporting 34 kg of fireworks from Laos to Vietnam.

Competent force took testimony

At 3PM on 26/10, during the inspection of people, vehicles and goods entering from Laos to Vietnam, the working group discovered in the truck cabin with license plate 43C- 183.28, driven by Nguyen Viet Hoa (was born in 1972, registered permanent resident in Son Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province) there were hidden two boxes of cartons, inside each box contained 8 blocks.

At the headquarters of competent forces, Nguyen Viet Hoa claimed that he bought 16 boxes of fireworks from an unknown Lao person, with total weight of 34 kg, brought to Vietnam for use.

The case is currently being finalized to be handed over to the relevant authorities for handling in accordance with regulations.
