VCN- One of the targets in the plan on assisting enterprises in import and export activities in 2018 of Ha Noi Customs Department is to help enterprises grasp, understand information and enhance awareness in voluntarily complying with provisions of Customs law and Tax law.

Accordingly, Ha Noi Customs Department is striving to achieve a 95% satisfaction assessment result from enterprises and partners carrying out Customs procedures in the Department, and the quantity of enterprises engaged in import and export activities in Ha Noi Customs Department to reach 65% or more.

In order to implement this plan, the Ha Noi Customs Department will synchronously and comprehensively develop and deploy specific solutions; actively change in thought and awareness of Customs officers, especially in term of working style, behavior and attitude; Strengthen the management and enhance responsibility of Customs officers in performing their work with the spirit of an inquiring mind; Effectively and promptly handle difficulties and shortcomings and proposals of enterprises.

In addition, one of the solutions to assist enterprises in import and export activities is to help them comply with the law. Thereby, Ha Noi Customs Department will focus on propagating the common difficulties in carrying out Customs procedures for enterprises and instruct them to recognize and overcome errors. This will be done by focusing on some contents, such as acts leading to administrative sanction; HS code determination; Taxable valuation, control on Tax calculation; reasons leading to the goods of enterprises to be classified into dossier check, goods inspection and the method of overcoming these difficulties and increasing enterprises’ rank.

According to this plan, Ha Noi Customs Department expects to directly contact 300 enterprises to grasp difficulties and enterprises’ import and export plans for developing assist projects.
