Export turnover reaches over US$200 billion in the first half of April

In the first half of April, the country's export turnover reached more than US$15 billion. Among them, four product groups achieved the turnover of US$1 billion or more including: computers, electronic products and components; Mobile phones and components; machinery, equipment, tools, spare parts; and textile.
Many commodity groups earned the export turnover of hundreds of millions of USD such as footwear; vehicles and spare parts; Cameras, camcorders and accessories…
The export turnover of many major export commodity groups also recorded hundreds of millions of dollars such as: wood and wooden products, seafood, coffee, vegetables and fruits, and rice.
As of April 15, the country's total export turnover year rose 16.34% to US$ 107.82 billion year-on-year.
The import turnover in the first half of April reached US$ 16.1 billion. The two product groups saw the import turnover worth billion dollar including computers, electronic products and components; machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to April 15, the country's total import turnover reached US$101.1 billion, an increase of 15.4% over the same period in 2023.
As of April 15, the country's total trade in goods reached US$208.94 billion, with a trade surplus of US$6.7 billion.
