Officials monitor tax debt records at the Saigon Port Customs Sub-department, Region 1.

The Saigon Port Customs Sub-department, Region 1 (Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department) has just issued 6 notices to the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security requesting temporary suspension of exit for the legal representatives of 6 enterprises.

The reason is that these enterprises are being forced to execute administrative decisions on tax management, and have not yet fulfilled their tax payment obligations according to the notice of the Customs agency.

Specifically, temporary suspension of exit for Mr. Pham Van Huol, born in 1979, residing in Dong Thap, legal representative of Fuho Trading Company Limited (83 Truong Chinh, Ward 12, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), owes nearly 1.3 billion VND.

According to the reporter's investigation, the above debt belongs to the import declarations of goods of Fuho Trading Company Limited from 2015, 2016. Currently, the Company has stopped operating, but has not completed the procedures to close the tax code.

Similarly, the Saigon Port Customs Sub-department, Region 1, announced a temporary suspension of exit for Mr. Le Anh Quyet, born in 1977, residing in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, legal representative of Magic Key Company Limited (131/4 Street No. 7, Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City), owing over VND 500 million in taxes.

The Saigon Port Customs Sub-department, Region 1, said that the above tax debt belongs to 53 import declarations from 2016 to 2019. Currently, this company is no longer operating at the registered business address.

Magic Key Company Limited was established and put into operation in 2015, with the business lines of manufacturing ready-made garments; trading in automobiles and other motor vehicles, ect. In addition to being the legal representative of Magic Key Company Limited, Mr. Le Anh Quyet is also the legal representative for 3 other enterprises.

In addition to the above two cases, the Saigon Port Customs Sub-department, Region 1 also issued a notice of temporary suspension of exit for Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, legal representative of Chau Gia Nguyen Trading and Transport Services Co., Ltd., owing 34 million VND in tax.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Truong, born in 1976, residing in Binh Tan - Ho Chi Minh City, legal representative of Lucky House Import-Export Production Trading One Member Co., Ltd. (46/18 Lien Khu 16, 18, Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City), owing over 108 million VND in tax.

Ms. Dang Dinh Huan, born in 1972, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, legal representative of Thuy Loc Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd. (187/26 Co Giang, Co Giang Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), owing 25 million VND in tax.

Mr. Hoang Van Quang, born in 1982, residing in Hai Duong, legal representative of Kim Thinh Import-Export Company Limited (9491/51A Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ward 2, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), owes over 34 million VND.

The temporary suspension of exit for the above cases is from August 29, 2024 until the taxpayer completes his/her tax payment obligation to the state budget.

In the past, the Saigon Port Customs Sub-department, Region 1 is one of the units that issued the most notices of temporary suspension of exit for legal representatives of tax-indebted enterprises.

In 2023, this unit issued over 200 notices of temporary suspension of exit; in the first 8 months of 2024, the Sub-department also issued dozens of notices to the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security requesting temporary suspension of exit for legal representatives of tax-indebted enterprises.
