The General Department of Taxation said that it would upgrade the e-invoice management system at the tax office to meet the requirements of receiving and processing registration for using e-invoices with the tax authority's code generated from the cash register; receiving e-invoice data with the tax authority's code generated from the cash register of an organization or individual through providers of receiving, transmitting and storing services of E-invoice data; receive and process invoice notifications with errors for e-invoices.
It will also support businesses and business households to look up e-invoice data on the General Department of Taxation website and via the application on mobile devices; provide detailed reports to assist tax authorities in exploiting e-invoice data.
The General Department of Taxation will analyze, design and program the e-invoice application software from September 12 to October 16, 2022; set up technical infrastructure and install applications from 1 to October 16, 2022. It will test the application at the Tax office from 17 to October 23, 2022, and complete the e-invoice management system to meet the requirements arising after testing from 7 to November 20.
The General Department of Taxation expects to launch an e-invoice management system to receive and process e-invoice data from November 21.
The country's top tax regulator requests the e-invoice service providers to build and upgrade their e-invoice solutions under regulations on components containing e-invoice data and methods of transmission with tax authorities in Decision 1510/QD-TCT dated September 21, 2022; coordinate and test the integration between the tax authority's e-invoice management system and the provider's electronic invoice system.
The General Department of Taxation requests organizations that receive, transmit and store e-invoice data to notify the plan on upgrading the regulations on components containing the e-invoice data and the method of transmission with the Tax authority to the providers.
