Colonel Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of Dong Thap Police and Director of Dong Thap Customs Department Nguyen Thanh Toan sign the regulations. |
At the signing ceremony, Director of Dong Thap Police Colonel Nguyen Van Hieu and Director of Dong Thap Customs Department Nguyen Thanh Toan said the coordination between the two agencies has been maintained as per Regulation agreement 1065/QCPH/HQ-CA dated December 26, 2003 and the provisions of the law.
The effective collaboration has detected and handled many cases of smuggling, illegal transportation and storage of goods, including high-value goods, helping to fulfill political tasks of each sector.
The coordination has created synergy in the fight against crime and other violations, contributing to ensuring political, economic, social security and order in the province.
However, some contents of Regulation 1065 QCPH/HQ-CA are inconsistent with reality and the amendment to law provisions, so the two agencies agreed to rebuild the agreement to promote synergy in the anti-smuggling work.

The signed agreement creates a basis for effective coordination between the two sides in the near future, contributing to ensuring political security and socio-economic development in the province.
