Discovering shipment of smuggled clothes cheating nearly 700 million vnd

According to Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch, after discussing to People's Procuracy of HCMC city, the unit has transferred the case dossier of T.B.L Co., Ltd (located at Phu Nhuan district-HCMC) to Investigation Police agency under HCM city Police for investigation and handling in accordance with their competitors.
This shipment was discovered in February of 2017 by Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch. Based on the declaration of the enterprise, the shipment included dresses under the category of unused liquidity inventory, a total number of goods were 10,260 items, originated from Poland and the total value is nearly 70 million vnd. The declaration was classified to the green channel.
When detecting suspicious signs from this shipment, Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch decided to stop moving goods to supervision area and conduct physical inspection all shipment.
As a result, Customs authorities discovered this shipment were woman dress of all kind, a brand of Miss classic, brand new 100% but no information of origin on the product, with the total number, were 13,035 items.
Besides that, this enterprise also imported 6 goods catalogs without customs declaration. It was including over 19,000 dresses, pants, and shirts. The total value of violated goods was over 2.1 billion vnd, tax difference increase by 688.9 billion vnd.
Therefore, T.B.L Co., Ltd committed a violation of importing goods without declaration and declaring incorrect quantity, a type that leads to a shortage in the amount of tax payment in the process of doing customs procedure.
