Customs requests UOB Bank to deduct more than VND2 billion from tax debtor's account

Accordingly, Zone 1st SaiGon Seaport Customs Branch has taken coercive measures by deducting deposits from bank accounts for Nguyen Khanh Phat Trading Co., Ltd (Address: 11 National Highway 22, Tram Bom Hamlet - Tan Phu Trung Commune - Cu Chi District – HCM City, Tax Code: 0313689525) in line with Notice No. 1181/QD-KVI dated May 22 of the branch.
Earlier, the company did not comply with Notice No. 1181/QD-KVI dated May 22.
The Customs Branch requested UOB Bank, Ltd., to deduct money from the account and blockade the account of Nguyen Khanh Phat Trading Co., Ltd to pay the tax debt of over VND2 billion stated on the customs declaration.
If the amount on the account of Nguyen Khanh Phat Trading Co., Ltd. is less than the fine stated on Notice No. 1181/QD-KVI, UOB Bank, Ltd., still has to deduct the remaining amount after deducting the minimum balance to maintain the account and continue to monitor and deduct the arising amount on the taxpayer's account during the effective time of the decision.
