In May, the Anti-drug Enforcement Team and Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch discovered a consignment shipped from the Netherlands to Vietnam showing suspicious signs.

The Customs and Police seized nearly 20 kg of drugs, including: more than 14.6 kg of MDMA synthetic drugs; about 5.3 kg of ketamine. The drugs were hidden inside beer cans.

On May 10, the Express Cargo Customs Branch detected four packages with suspected signs of containing drugs. Upon physical inspection of the goods, the Customs seized more than 1.37 kg of ketamine. All of the drugs were hidden at the bottom of the body cream boxes.

On May 11, Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch screened a consignment shipped from Czechs to Vietnam with suspicious signs. The Customs conducted a physical inspection for the derelict consignment including three packages, weighting 10 kg, and detected over 8 kg of MDMA. The drugs were mixed in Mayonnaise tubes and other goods.

During expanding the investigation, the Police authority arrested suspects.

Currently, the cases are under investigation by the law enforcement forces.
