Coast guard seized 3 ships illegally transporting petrol on the South West Sea

At the time of inspection, the working group discovered three vessels with license plate code NĐ-95368 TS; QB 91977 TS; BV 96868 TS while it was transporting about 600,000 liters of DO oil. The captains of all three ships could not present the invoice and legal documents for the shipments of oil.

Besides that, among the 22 crew members, there were 14 crew members on board that did not have a professional certificate, and 1 ship did not have dossiers of the vessel. Initially, the subjects declared that the above petrol was bought from a foreign ship in the joint sea area. The three vessels they were caught and seized by the Coast Guard.

Currently, the Command of Coastguard Region 4 has completed the record of administrative violation, issued a decision to seize evidences and vessels, escorted the offending ships to the port of Marine Unit 402 (Nam Can) for further investigation, clarification, and settlement in accordance with the regulations.
