Chile officially issues electronic C/O form VC from November 1, 2024

Previously, the competent authority of Chile announced via email that Chile will issue electronic C/O for goods exported from Chile to Vietnam under the Vietnam - Chile Free Trade Agreement (FTA) (VCFTA Agreement).
Accordingly, the General Department of Customs specifically notified the local customs departments. Regarding the electronic C/O form VC, the competent authority of Chile will pilot the issuance of electronic C/O from September 10, 2024 to October 31, 2024; paper copies of C/O form VC is only issued in special cases. From November 1, 2024, Chile will officially issue electronic C/O form VC.
Regarding checking information of VC form, the Customs authority scans the QR code on the C/O or accesses electronic information according to the search document to check information of the electronic C/O form VC.
