Export tax rates of 13 commodity codes to increase to 20% from January 1, 2025

VCN – According to the Export Tariff issued with Decree 26/2023/ND-CP, the tax rates of 13 commodity codes will increase to 20% from January 1, 2025.

Accordingly, the export tax rate of 13 commodity codes in Chapter 68 of the Export Tariff will increase by 5% (from 15% to 20%).

The Export Tariff issued with Decree 26/2023/ND-CP stipulates that the import tax rate for 13 commodity codes 6801.00.00; 6802.10.00; 6802.21.00; 6802.23.00; 6802.29.10; 6802.29.90; 6802.91.10; 6802.91.90; 6802.92.00; 6802.93.10; 6802.93.90; 6802.99.00; 6803.00.00 are 10%, 15% and 20% respectively, applied for the respective periods from July 15, 2023, January 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.

Export tax rates of 13 commodity codes will increase to 20% from January 2025:

Setts, curbstones and Flagstones, of Natural Stone (except Slate), HS code 6801.00.00;

Stone Tiles, Cubes and similar articles, whether or not rectangular (including square), the largest surface area of which is capable of being enclosed in a square the side of which is less than 7 cm; artificially coloured granules, chippings and powder, HS code 6802.10.00;

Marble, travertine and alabaster, HS code 6802.21.00;

Granite, HS code 6802.23.00;

Other calcareous stone, HS code 6802.29.10;

Other stone, HS code 6802.29.90 (subheading 6802.2);

Worked monumental or other building stone and articles thereof, simply cut or sawn, with a flat or even surface; other marble (other than worked monumental or building stone and articles thereof, simply cut or sawn, with a flat or even surface, and Cubes and similar articles, whether or not rectangular (including square), the largest surface area of which is capable of being enclosed in a square the side of which is less than 7 cm; artificially coloured granules, chippings and powder, HS code 6802.91.10.

Other travertine and alabaster (other than worked monumental or building stone and articles thereof, simply cut or sawn, with a flat or even surface, and Cubes and similar articles, whether or not rectangular (including square), the largest surface area of which is capable of being enclosed in a square the side of which is less than 7 cm; artificially coloured granules, chippings and powder, HS code 6802.91.90.

Granite, polished slabs, HS code 6802.93.10;
