VCN- An illegal immigrant transporting 174 gram drugs from Cambodia to Vietnam have been arrested by Border Guard and Customs authorities at Moc Bai International Border Gate.

Moc Bai Border Gate Customs Branch (Tay Ninh Customs Department) said that on the afternoon of March 23, law enforcement forces detected and arrested Nguyen Thanh Tung, residing at the house number 20/2, Street 160, Tang Nhon Phu A Ward, Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City, for illegally entry and carrying 174 gram drugs.

Tung said that on March 21, he exited to Cambodia and arrived to Le Ma Cau casino in Ba Vet city to play cards. On March 22, Tung arrived to Phom Penh to meet a person named Teo to buy the drugs worth VND30 million to Vietnam for use.

However, he was arrested by Moc Bai Border Guard, Moc Bai Border Gate Customs, Long Thuan Commune Police, and Ben Cau District Police, and Tay Ninh Province.

Currently, the case is investigated by Moc Bai Border Gate Border Guard Station.
