Many enterprises owing tax debt are subjected to coercive measures

This decision on enforcement is issued by the Investment Customs Branch - HCM City Customs Department. According to this decision, Cai Mep Investment Joint Stock Company (located at 147 Ky Con, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1, HCM City, tax code: 0304813198) was forced to stop carrying out customs procedures for import-export goods.

The reason is that taxpayer has owed tax debt for more than 90 days from the date of expiration of the prescribed payment deadline, with an amount of over VND99.8 billion.

The decision takes effect for a period of one year from September 8, 2022 to the date of termination of the decision if the tax debt is fully paid into the state budget.

Previously, District 1 Tax Branch (HCM City Tax Department) sent official dispatch No. 48264/CCTQ1-QLN dated August 25, 2022 to the Investment Customs Branch requesting cooperation in forcing to stop carrying out customs procedures for Cai Mep Investment Joint Stock Company due to overdue tax arrears as mentioned above.

Cai Mep Investment Joint Stock Company was established at the end of 2006. This company operates in the field of mining minerals; construction of technical works in industrial parks; residential areas; wholesale of automobiles and motor vehicles; buying and selling automobile spare parts; trade in food, agricultural and forestry raw materials; freight forwarding.
