VCN- A truck transporting 1.2 tons of smuggled grey mullet has been seized by the Quang Ninh Market Management Force in Mong Cai City.

According to the National Steering Committee 389 of Quang Ninh Province, on 28th November 2016, the Market Management Team No. 4 conducted physical inspections of a truck with number plate 14C-022.87 driven by Mr. Vu Van Tu (as the owner, living at Zone 2, Hai Yen, Mong Cai City) with 1.2 tons of smuggled grey mullet, worth 18 million vnd.

The Market Management Team No. 4 decided to charge Mr. Vu Van Tu a fine of 8 million vnd and destroyed all violated goods.

Earlier, on 25th November 2016, in Mong Cai City, the Customs Control Team under the Customs Branch of Mong Cai border gate (under the Quang Ninh Customs Department) seized a truck with number plate 14C-150.56 transporting 950 foreign shirts, new 100%.
