According to the General Department of Taxation, with the aim of facilitating to taxpayers in performance tax law, the tax sector will expand the e-Tax system to replace the old one (electronic tax payment and declaration) provided to enterprises and supplement a number of new features at the same time. This is also the premise for the electronic tax system – single window – provide all services of electronic tax transactions to taxpayers in the country in the future.

A representative of the General Department of Taxation said that with the e-Tax system, enterprises can access and manage all electronic tax services on a single system instead of having to log in to multiple applications as before.

With e-Tax, enterprises can log into a system to use all services, manage all tax records without changing the site address or re-logging in to the system. This will make it easy for people to fully implement the steps in tax declaration, tax payment, tax refund, searching information of tax dossiers and tax duty.

For large size enterprises, apart from one main account of each tax code, enterprises may create additional accounts for different titles in the company such as the director, chief accountant, accountants … it will help to control the responsibility of members in a flexible way.

Notably, on the e-Tax system, the tax authorities have provided a search function. Accordingly, enterprises can look up the tax dossiers sent to the tax authorities for the result announcement of processing tax dossiers, searching information of tax obligations and payable tax amount.

According to the General Department of Taxation, since 12/2017, the system has been implemented for all enterprises under the management of the tax authorities of Phu Tho province, Bac Ninh. It is expected in 5/2018, it will be expanded to 13 provinces: Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Ha Giang, Bac Can, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Hai Duong. , Hung Yen, Yen Bai. Once the e-Tax system officially launches, enterprises will stop using the old electronic tax declaration and payment system.

For businesses that have transacted with the Tax authority on tax declaration and payment systems (already have a transaction account), all information about account and dossiers will be transferred to e-Tax system for continuing using the services of the Tax authority without having to re-register.

The access method is as follows:

If the user has previously used the electronic tax payment system (for example, password 123456) at the website nopthue.gdt.gov.vn, the user logs in to the e-Tax account. : MST-QL (for example: 0100231226-QL), enter the password (in this example the password entered into the electronic tax payment system would be, 123456), to use all services: tax declaration; tax refund; taxpayer; search; account management and authorization.

In case the user has a password previously used at the nhantokhai.gdt.gov.vn website (for example: password 567890), the user logs into e-Tax account: MST (for example: 0100231226), enter the password (this would be the password entered into the electronic tax filing system, 567890), to use the service: tax declaration; tax refund; search.
