Vietnam"s fastest growing companies sought for national ranking

To honour the efforts of businesses during this particularly difficult period of pandemic, Việt Nam News - the national only English-language daily newspaper, Vietnam Plus - the national online newspaper for external information, and Statista - the renowned global business data platform, are collaborating to select and publish the annual list of top growing businesses in Vietnam.

Over the past two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world economy as well as Vietnam’s have been facing many challenges. However the Government and businesses of Vietnam have made great efforts to overcome the hardships and recover. Many enterprises, in particular, have even sustained remarkable growth.

To honour the efforts of businesses during this particularly difficult period in our mission to promote the country and contribute to accelerating socio-economic growth, for the first time, Việt Nam News - the national only English-language daily newspaper, Vietnam Plus - the national online newspaper for external information, and Statista - the renowned global business data platform, are collaborating to select and publish the annual list of top growing businesses in Vietnam.

The ranking will be published online by vietnamnews.vn , and vietnamplus.vn on a dedicated page with the ranking in a table format, and in print, in a special supplement in a dedicated section in Viet Nam News. It is expected to be one of the most reliable reference sources for potential investors and partners.

It will award companies based in Vietnam with the highest revenue growth in a period of three years (calendar years 2017-2020 or equivalent fiscal years), which are willing to report and/or confirm their revenue figures for these years and which had revenues of at least VNĐ20bn in 2020 (roughly US$1m).

The top 100 enterprises will be awarded the title "Vietnam Growth Champion 2022".

The list will be updated annually based on the same indices for the most recent 3-year term.

With the participation of two prestigious newspapers in Vietnam and selection and certification by renowned global business data platform Statista, the “Vietnam Growth Champion 2022” will be globally trusted.

Participation in "Vietnam Growth Champion 2022” provides an opportunity for businesses to be considered for the ranking of Asia's top growing companies in collaboration with the Financial Times.

The ranking will be restricted only to businesses who register and are certified within the programme, so organisers hope that all prestigious enterprises with high growth will participate so "Vietnam Growth Champion 2022” can present to the world the truly prominent champions of Vietnam.
