The Government create many preferences for industrial zone development

The Government has just issued many preferential policies for industrial zones

According to the Decree, investment projects in business and production in industrial zones are exempt from 7-year land rental fee and entitled to other preferences in accordance with the law.

Investment projects in infrastructure business in industrial zone are exempt from 11-year land rental fee and considered to receive State investment loans in not excess of 70% of the total investment amount and entitled to other preferences in accordance with the law.

Infrastructure construction projects in industrial zones are permitted to be invested in the Public Private Partner form.

Preferences for craft village industrial zones

The Decree stipulated that investment projects in business and production in craft village industrial zones are exempt from 11-year land rental fee and considered to receive State investment loans in not excess of 70% of the total investment amount.

Investment projects in infrastructure business in craft village industrial zone are exempt from 15-year land rental fee and considered to receive State investment loans in not excess of 70% of the total investment amount. The local budget provides financial support moving enterprises, cooperatives, individual or household production facilities in craft villages to craft village industrial zones; the specific amount will be decided by the provincial people’s committees

The state budget and local budget shall give priority to supporting infrastructure construction in craft village industrial zones.

In addition to above policies, investment projects in technical infrastructure and business and production in craft village industrial zones are also entitled to preferences for industrial zones and in accordance with relevant law. If there are many preferences and supports, the maximum preference and support will be applied.

The Decree clarified that the priority craft village industrial zones must be in the Planning and established and operated in accordance with the law on industrial zone management.

Number of enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups and individual or household manufacturing facilities in craft village accounted for more than 60% compared to number of enterprises and manufacturing facilities which have moved or registered for movement to craft village industrial zones.

At the time of consideration for preference entitlement, the registration rate accounted for 80%, including more than 60% enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups and individual or household manufacturing facilities in craft village according to the confirmation of the districts’ people’s committees.
