Strictly control security at Noi Bai airport during the APEC Week

Deputy Director of Ha Noi Customs Department Tran Quoc Dinh said that the units and subordinates of Hanoi Customs Department have prepared to enhance the security for the APEC 2017.

Especially, at Noi Bai international airport, the Customs force has developed a plan of inspection and supervision to handle Customs procedures quickly and conveniently but strictly controlled the luggage and cargo in APEC Leader’s Week.

In addition, the Hanoi Customs Department also directed the units to review, strengthen the information security and set out policies to strengthen information security and safety for local network infrastructure and the wireless network of their units. Besides, reviewing and enhancing information safety for the public entire screen and multi-media communication equipment in the areas under their management; especially sensitive places such as airports, places of meetings and conferences.

Moreover, the Northern Airports Authority also directed the units at the airport to increase their human resources, ensure security for the special flights and commercial flights carrying delegates, guests to Noi Bai airport without affecting the daily flight.

The Northern Airports Authority has set up a Steering Committee serving the APEC Leader’s Week with attendance of the representatives from units at the airport. At the same time, issuing a document to instruct the units to arrange their officers and follow the prescribed procedures, labour disciplines, enhance the inspection and supervision, comply with the reporting regime, the coordination and handle violations in a timely fashion.
