On May 7, at Tung Dien traffic checkpoint (Lang Son province), the anti-drugs enforcement team worked with Division 6 – Police Department on drug-related crime investigation (C04), the Ministry of Public Security; Police Division on drug-related crime investigation (PC04), Lang Son City Police; Tung Dien traffic checkpoint, Lang Son City Police and other forces to inspect a truck and discovered two people that had committed acts of illegal transport of drugs.

At the scene, the subjects said they were Doan Ngoc Dung (born in 1985) and Nguyen Xuan Son (born in 1976). Both of them live in a microdistrict, Moc Cha Farm Town, Moc Chau District, Son La province.

Through inspection, forces detected and seized 16 bricks containing white powder suspected tobe heroin with total weight of 5.28kg.

At the same time, at Doc Quyt Integrated Control Station, Dong Dang Town, Cao Loc District, Lang Son Province, the force arrested Hoang Thi Thu Hien (born in 1982, residing in Tan Lap commune, Moc district. Chau, Son La province) and Pham Quang Giap (born in 1984, residing in Pa Khen microdistrict, Moc Chau Farm Town).

Hoang Thi Thu Hien was identified by the Anti-drug Enforcement Team in Project QN 099 to struggle.

Expanding the investigation, the force continued to search Hien’s house and arrested Nong Thi Quyen (born in 1987, residing in Wire Steel Area, Dong Dang Town, Cao Loc District, Lang Son Province) and Loc Van Dai (born in 1988, residing in Van Lang district, Lang Son province).

The two subjects were identified as related to the drug trafficking group of Hoang Thi Thu Hien.

Also according to Lang Son Police, the 16 bricks of white powder were heroin.

The Anti-Drug Enforcement Unit has handed over the case dossiers, exhibits and subjects to the Police Division on drug-related crime investigation (PC04), Lang Son Police for investigation.
