Strengthen interagency coordination

At the meeting, the representative of Hanoi Market Surveillance Department said that on February 3, the unit inspected drugstores in the city. The department inspected one drugstore and coordinated with Hanoi Police (PC03, PC05) and police authorities of districts to inspect and handle two others.

The representative of the market surveillance department also proposed National Steering Committee 389 to direct the competent forces from the central to local levels to intensify interagency coordination in combating smuggling, banned goods, fake goods and trade fraud at border gates, international railway stations and international airports to prevent criminals atthe border gates and minimize smuggled goods.

In particular, to strictly control animal and animal food products imported from countries and territories in the epidemic areas, and aquatic products and poultry of unknown origin that are illegal transported across borders to Hanoi for consumption.
