According to Pham Khanh Phong Lan, Head of the Food Safety Department of HCM City, people should buy goods at reputable addresses where goods are issued with an invoice proving their origin and ensured quality. Particularly, people should be careful when buying goods online at spontaneous online stores. Because most of the spontaneous online stores lack food safety certificates or business registrations. In addition, people should not store too much food during the Lunar New Year because in HCM City and provinces and cities, the food distribution system operates throughout the Lunar New Year. At the same time, the good preservation of food should also be paid attention to, avoiding spoiled and rancid food, causing unsafety in the Lunar New Year. |
