7 key export groups bring in US$234.5 billion

According to updated information from the General Department of Customs, as of November 15, our country's largest export group was computers, electronic products and components with a turnover of US$61.75 billion.

This is also the group of goods with the highest growth in turnover in the country with an increase of US$12.79 billion, equivalent to an increase of 26.1% compared to the same period last year.

Ranked second are phones and components with US$48.64 billion, an increase of US$2.25 billion, equivalent to an increase of 4.8% compared to the same period last year.

Machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts ranked third with US$45.35 billion, an increase of US$8.08 billion U, equivalent to an increase of 21.7% compared to the same period last year.

In addition, by November 15, there were four export groups worth tens of billions of dollars, including: textiles; footwear; wood and wood products; means of transport and spare parts.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of export groups worth tens of billions of dollars remained, but the scale of turnover rose significantly when all seven groups had positive growth.

The main export markets of the above groups are the United States, EU, China, South Korea and Japan, etc.

Notably, with a turnover of US$234.5 billion, the above key groups account for 66.55% of the country’s total export turnover.

Regarding Vietnam's export activities, from the beginning of the year to November 15, it reached US$352.38 billion, an increase of 14.8% or US$ 45.54 billion compared to the same period in 2023.
