Nghe An Customs arrests suspect transporting 3,600 tablets of narcotics

VCN - After a year of implementing the Mekong Dragon VI Campaign, HCM City Customs has uncovered and seized more than 50 kilograms of various narcotics.

VCN - In 2024, the Nghe An Customs Department tackled state revenue collection amid significant socio-economic challenges. Despite these hurdles, the department reached 111.07% of its assigned revenue target within the first 10 months, achieving its annual goal well ahead of time.

VCN - Coordination in the fight against drug crimes is one of the outstanding results in the 5 years of implementing the coordination regulations between Nghe An Customs Department and Nghe An Border Guard Command (according to Regulation No. 3929/QC-BĐBP-TCHQ dated September 4, 2019 between the Border Guard Command and the General Department of Vietnam Customs).

VCN – Over the past time, Nghe An Customs Department has focused on improving skills for enforcement officers in determining behavior, making records and decisions on sanctioning administrative violations, thereby enhancing the efficiency of sanctioning administrative violations and minimizing the complaint or law suit for the Customs agency by organizations and individuals. However, the department still faces problems in this work and need to have detailed instruction.
